Vaulori (“we,” “us”) helps you capture and share personal legacy content — photos, videos, voice recordings, and related metadata (“Memories”) — with people you choose (“Legacy contacts”). This policy describes what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information: email address, display name, and authentication credentials you provide when you create an account.
• Vault content: memories you add (media files, titles, eras, voice recordings), vault titles, recipient names, and legacy contact names and email addresses.
• Usage and device data: basic diagnostics needed to operate the app (for example, crash logs if you opt into a reporting service we enable).

How we use information

• Provide the app: store and sync your vaults, upload media, preview your Museum, and deliver features you request.
• Send transactional email when you seal a vault or share a Museum link with legacy contacts (via our email provider).
• Improve reliability, security, and support.
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only:

• With people you choose: when you share or seal a vault, we email legacy contacts you designate. Museum links expose only the content needed for that invitation.
• With service providers: for example Firebase (hosting, database, storage, authentication) and Resend (email). They process data on our behalf under their terms.
• For legal reasons: if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

Storage and security

Your vault bundle and uploaded media are stored in cloud infrastructure tied to your account. We use industry-standard access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; you are responsible for keeping your password confidential.

Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. When you delete your account in the app, we remove your vault data, uploaded media, and authentication record, subject to reasonable backup and legal retention periods.

Your choices

• Access and update your display name, email, and password in Account settings.
• Delete your account and associated cloud data from Account settings.
• Control who receives emails by managing legacy contacts before sealing or sharing.

Children

Vaulori is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

International users

If you use Vaulori from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the U.S. or other countries where our providers operate.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised date at the top of this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
